Stay and Play! As a guest of Mountain Villas you are able to purchase greatly discounted Spirit Mountain ski lift tickets! A 4-hour ski lift ticket is only $18.00 at the Mountain Villas office! Upgrades can be purchased just a short walk (or ski) down the hill at the Spirit Mountain chalet ticket window: $5.00 more for an 8 hour ticket or $10.00 more for a full day.
(Discounted tickets are not valid Saturdays, Martin Luther or Presidents Day Weekends.)

Weekday Ski Package with Equipment Rental: As a weeknight guest of Mountain Villas you may purchase a DEEPLY discounted Spirit Mountain ski lift ticket AND equipment rental package!
This package includes one 4-hour lift ticket and one 4-hour equipment rental for only $28 at the Mountain Villas office! (a savings of up to $61.00) Equipment rental options are standard skis with boots and poles, or a snowboard and boots. Upgrades can be purchased at the Spirit Mountain chalet ticket window: $10.00 more for 8 hours or $20.00 more for a full day.
Offer is ONLY valid for stays Sunday - Thursday nights with equipment rentals Monday - Thursday, January 1 through March 31, 2012, and is NOT valid Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Martin Luther or Presidents Day Mondays.
Spirit Mountain Adventure Park, within walking distance from Mountain Villas on Skyline Blvd., is a new and exciting year-round attraction in the Duluth/Superior area, featuring the "Timber Twister" Alpine Coaster, the "Timber Flyer" Zip Line, and soon a 6-lane Snow Tubing Park (opening late December) as well!
As a guest of Mountain Villas you can purchase discounted Timber Twister and Timber Flyer tickets!
Timber Twister whisks riders down a winding, 3,500-foot track at speeds up to 26 mph. Riders, who are seat-belted in, can control the speed. When the ride down the 750-foot vertical drop is over, riders simply stay on the coaster and are pulled back up to the top of the hill. It is the first Alpine Coaster in the Midwest, and one of only five in the country. Ride the coaster NOW on YouTube!
Timber Flyer takes you zipping through the treetops, 700 feet down the mountain, overlooking Lake Superior and the City of Duluth. At the bottom of the zip line it pulls you back up to the top, allowing you to take in the view on the way back up as well. You can ride Single or Double on a bench-type seat secured with safety belts. The round trip takes approximately 90 seconds.
