Cross Country Skiing at Mountain Villas

Adjacent to the Mountain Villas resort, the Upper Spirit Mountain Nordic Trails are 22 kilometers of beautifully wooded cross-country ski trails, double tracked with skating lanes, and accessible from the nearby Spirit Mountain Nordic Center. This trail system connects to Spirit Mountain's Grand Avenue Nordic trails, the Magney-Snively ski trail system, and also to the Superior Hiking Trail. It is a joint endeavor of the city of Duluth, the Duluth Cross-Country Ski Club, and Spirit Mountain Recreation Area.
